The hosts - Emanuel and Maricela, the kids and the parrot Antonia 🙂, are the best possible hosts. Always smiling, helpful, paying attention to every small detail. Emanuel cooked for us and the food was fresh from their farm. He also organized all our tours in the jungle. The huts at the river are very cute, with terraces, bathrooms, comfortable beds from which you have a direct view to the river day and night. Every day the hosts were cleaning. The total package is a wonderful experience. From the long-boat journey to the field excursions, all well run. The accommodation is superb when you consider where it is in a jungle setting. A quality experience. The staff are superb and the facilities well maintained in a very hot, wet and humid setting. Its the little things like gum boots and well placed umbrellas that make for a well thoughtout experience. Then you add on the wildlife which is everywhere!!

Wasai Tambopata Lodge ligger i hjärtat av Tambopata Candamo National Reserve och erbjuder Amazon Expeditions och gratis Wi-Fi. Fisketurer kan också ordnas i området. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

The place exceeded our expectations! In the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature, great pool to chill out in the heat, wonderful host, we were concerned by the distance from the city at the beginning but you can eat lunch and dinner in the place, and do not need to go to the city. For extra money of course but very good food.
