The location is beautiful, the price is right, and the kindness and service we received from our host, Jesusa, put this location over the top. Breakfast was delicious and hearty, and the dinners came out great too. We used one of our days in Putre to get over the soroche (altitude sickness) and the food and views gave us something to enjoy while feeling less than great.

Guest bedrooms at the peaceful Hotel Terrace Lodge have en suite bathrooms with hot water available 24/7 and wall mounted hair dryer. The rooms have individually controlled heating and a cecurity deposit box.

After travelling for 3 months I can say that this place was one of my favorite. Elena and Francisco are simply the best, they went their ways and above to make me feel at home and make sure I had the best stay. The hotel is situated in the center of Putre with incredible views on the mountains and a beautiful garden. The room itself was perfect with a beautiful view on the mountains, nicely decorated and very nice bathroom (hot water was a plus). On top of all of that, the bed is very comfortable, loads of pillow and duvets. Very warm at night with heating. The breakfast is delicious and very varied. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back to this special place.

The improssion we got was very professional, keeping in mind that Putre is at 3200 meters of altitude. They tried their best to talk to us, even though our spanish was realy poor. The food was realy good! We enjoyed the stay even though we had a cold shower, we are not sure if we should have done something differently to get warm water....we can highly recommend it.HenkelGermany

The hosts were so wonderful and kind and welcoming. They made us feel so cared for. They were very accommodating with all of our needs. They made wonderful breakfast every day. Easy with extending our stay. We celebrated New Years Eve there and they cooked us a delicious, fine restaurant quality meal and served us in our room with wine. We did 3 days of tour with Francisco that I highly recommend. He knows every corner of Putre area and showed us stunning places far from the beaten path. The lodge is cozy and warm. Wi fi works very well.

As for the Terrace Lodge, it's a nice place in a good location but is missing those little details that would make it a great place to stay. I know these are difficult timies and Im sure that when the pandemic is behind us it will be a wonderful place to stay.
