Our room was very clean and newly decorated. Atocha station is a 20 minute walk away. A taxi to Puerta del Sol costs 15 euros. It is impossible to find such an apartment in the centre at this price. David was very helpful and kind. They send the passwords to your phone in advance. We didn't have any problems. Everything was great.

The location couldn't be better for a tourist, it's about 20m from Puerta del Sol. You want to be closer, you'll have to pitch a tent on the plaza :-). The room furniture is old but functional. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. For two people, the room might be a little bit small, but for one person it's good. The area around the hotel was safe even at 2 a.m. I would definitely return to this hotel the next time.

The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly and helped us a lot throughout our stay (recommendations, taxi booking etc.). The location couldn’t be any better. The hotel as well as our room were very very clean. The variety of breakfast was also big with many options to choose from! All in all we fully enjoyed our stay and hope to be visiting Catalonia Puerta del Sol soon again! We highly recommend it.

The hotel is not new, rather modestly equipped, but very clean. Towels changed daily, bed linen every 3 days. Breakfast was rather modest, but it didn't bother us because we wanted to try local cuisine. A hotel worth recommending.
