I first came to Japan in 1996 and met my wife Sabina here. I speak Japanese fluently. We live in Setagaya Tokyo and both love the beach! We have traveled to Shimoda since 2011 and would love to share our experience with our guests. It is a great house in a perfect location just steps from the beach. Please come visit us and enjoy! For any questions, please feel free to text me any time before 8 pm and after 7 am.

Modern villa with a fantastic nature-rich location, just about a 10 min flat walk to Ohama Beach. A 350 sq. meter lawn, fenced for kids' safety. Parents can keep an eye on their kids while relaxing on the deck. Pets-friendly property (dog run) A large gazebo to enjoy BBQ even in the rain. Kitchen appliances: Miele dishwasher, a gas range, oven, electric kettle, toaster, fridge, coffee maker Free Wi-Fi internet, 65-inch smart TV, Netflix is provided for free 2 large cars parking on the premises We use a professional cleaning company, and strive to have our house sparkling clean for our guests!

Neighbourhood information

The property is only about a 10-minute flat walk to Ohama Beach. Surrounded by mountains and forests, it is a place rich in nature with a sky full of stars at night and fireflies flying in the nearby river in summer. There are a few houses around, but there is some distance, so it is a place with high privacy. You can listen to music on the outside deck while having a BBQ, and you don't have to worry about if children playing too loudly or your dog is barking. The property is fully fenced, so is safe for kids or pets, but please keep an eye on them
