■Please note that we will be guiding you in Japanese, so communication speed may be a little slow. About 30 minutes by car from Gero Onsen and Hida Takayama! The Hida-Osaka Fureai-no-mori Campground is full of natural experiences, surrounded by a star-filled sky and the warmth of the forest. Make memorable outdoor experiences for the whole family. Surrounded by the rich nature of the Hida-Osaka forest, adults and children alike can enjoy the “playful forest” with smiles on their faces. A clear stream with natural river fish flows right in front of the house! Nearby you can enjoy mountain stream fishing, playing in the river, visiting waterfalls, and enjoying the highly concentrated natural carbonated spring water. The site is built on the slope of a mountain with 11 bungalows and log cabins full of the warmth of wood, offering the best view. A full lineup of rental equipment is also available. You can spend a relaxing time with your whole family. ★Recommended points Cooking building with a roof Enjoy BBQ even on rainy days. You can bring your own food! ★Important [No duvets provided] Bedding sets (mattresses, bed pads, pillows, sheets, and pillowcases) for the number of guests staying are already included in the accommodation fee. Please bring your own bedding such as towels and sleeping bags. Rental is also available. (shrug 450 yen, blanket 400 yen) [Appropriate clothing] The campsite is located at an altitude of approximately 650m. As a result, it gets cold at night all year round, so please bring long sleeves and something to wear over your clothes. A sweatshirt is a good idea for the night◎ Also, regardless of the weather, please wear sneakers that you are comfortable wearing. [There are insects] The campsite is located in a forest surrounded by mountains rich in nature. For a comfortable stay, we recommend that you bring insect repellent spray and wear long sleeves and long pants. Please be careful of mosquitoes, especially after dusk.

●Around the campsite River play: Play in the nearby Ohboragawa River. Be sure to wear a life jacket to protect your life. Mountain stream fishing: Ayu (sweetfish), Amago (eel), Iwana (char), Yamame (landlocked salmon), and many other natural fish are swimming in the river. Waterfall tours: Hida-Osaka is “the town with the most waterfalls in Japan,” and tours of waterfalls are available. Onsen (hot springs): There is a drinking place nearby where you can drink “highly concentrated natural carbonated spring water”. Gero Onsen is about 30 minutes away, why not enjoy it after checking out?
