Set in Koh Rong and with Long Set Beach reachable within 1.3 km, Koh Rong Lagoon offers a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Amazing new hostel run by a local family. The beds are big and super comfortable, and they provide you with full-privacy curtains (feels like your little own room), outlets, light, a towel, and even a body-pillow(!!) in addition to the regular head pillow. The rooms have AC + big lockers, the bathrooms and showers are spacious and STOCKED with shampoo + body wash. The outdoor area is nice and open with some very comfy hammocks to lounge around in. Laundry service and motorbike rentals are available as well. From the hostel, it’s a short 5-min walk through the jungle to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. It's also 5-min to Funky Beach and 7min for Nest (15min for Nest Jungle). You can even go at night since Bunna (hostel owner) set up lights for the path for the trails leading to the beach from the hostel. PRIME LOCATION for both going out and staying in. It is right in between both Funky Beach and Nestival parties, and since the hostel is set behind the lagoon it’s nice and quiet if you want to stay in and relax. Walkable to Koh Touch (main town) through the jungle (20min). A previous review said it’s the best hostel in Cambodia, and I have to agree. For only being a couple of months old, they really have their things in order and I cannot believe the value. Please be sure to stick around and chat with the local staff If you see them - not only are they very caring and loving, but they literally built this place from the ground up and it's interesting to hear their stories. TIPS for future travelers: Remember that you are visiting an island that is not extremely developed, and the hostel itself is a part of the jungle. Have reasonable expectations like dirt/uneven roads, terrain (I do NOT recommend walking barefoot in the jungle lol), and resources (electricity/water can sometimes cut out - not all the time, but it happens). Please communicate with Dolla at reception if you ever need something urgently (I.e. laundry in fewer than 2 days).

Set in M'Pay Bay in the north part of Koh Rong Sanloem, The Cliff Hostel, M'Pay Bay provides accommodation where guests can enjoy the whole view of the island and beautiful sunset view. Love this place. I was there for about a week and a half. Just walk down the stairs from the bar and you find a coral reef with lots of fish swimming around. Even though I was sick, I really enjoyed the place.

Lazy Bones has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Koh Rong Sanloem. The accommodation features evening entertainment and free WiFi. Really amaizing owner and family. They will help you with anything that you need. The room is comfortable and fair price. I really recommend this place.

Located along a private stretch of Sunset Beach, Robinson Bungalows offers accommodations in Koh Rong Sanloem. Guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant or have a drink at the bar. The best place to stay while on this island, the bungalow was very cute, the beach beautiful with sunset in the evening and glowing plankton at night. It is not a hotel but a community and you can feel it in the friendly atmospehere. The food was delicious as well!
