A recently renovated homestay in Ha Giang, An's House offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. I like everything about it! The traditional wooden house, An and the others running the house, the food, the location. It’s very quiet which I like very much. Maybe one thing that needs a little maintenance is the sink, it leaks sometimes. But all in all, it was a perfect stay :) Thank you so much to An for being passionate and kind.

You must eat dinner with them because it was the most delicious meal ever. We are vegan, and there were so many options for us. The bathrooms are very nice with hot water, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve had in a month. I wish I would have stayed more days here because it’s so beautiful with lots of mountain trails. There were 7 Vietnamese visitors at the home when we were there, and we all had fun singing karaoke. We had a large private bedroom with mosquito tents. The best.

Situated in Dồng Văn in the Ha Giang region, Nhà Cổ Lao Xa Homestay Hmong has a garden. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. One of the more authentic places left in Ha Giang, Huong (sorry if that's spelt wrong) and his family is amazing and extremely helpful. The family dinner is amazing along with his performance with traditional hmong instruments. I wish I spent more time here, will definitely return.

Tuan who runs the place is a gorgeous man, the lovely sounds of the river result in a deep sleep. It is beautiful surroundings and not so far from town, but fully quiet: no traffic sounds. Tuan and his family cook delicious food every night and take good care of you. Also my friend Maggie lost her wallet in a taxi and Tuan stayed up all night and the next day tracking it down and returning it to us. So so caring, it is a place of love and care here :) Also they can rent you motorbikes and bicycles here, but there are walks up the river or up the mountain which are easy to do
