As a solo female traveler, staying here I felt so safe and at home. The owner and his wife are so utterly sweet and hardworking. The owner has a TukTuk and for a very fair price, he picked me up/dropped me off at the train station. On top of this, he offered different excursion options on his TukTuk for tea plantations, hikes, waterfalls, etc. The owner honestly went above and beyond, not only was he a wonderful host, but also a great driver and tour guide. What really touched my heart was when he took me to the Horton Plains National Park and ended up doing the WHOLE hike with me because he did not want me to do it alone and wanted to make sure I was safe. Their home is a very cute 100+-year-old house, with two rooms. The room was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds with warm blankets for the chilly nights. The price includes breakfast and if you have an early excursion/train time they pack you a full breakfast as well! They also offer lunch and dinner, which the wife cooks. It was honestly the best food I had on my trip to Sri Lanka especially the chicken curry and dhal curry.

Medalin Lake Gregory อยู่ในนูวาราเอลิยา ห่างจาก Hakgala Botanical Garden 8.2 กม. และมีวิวทะเลสาบ ที่พักนี้ปลอดบุหรี่และมีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากทะเลสาบเกรกอรี 1.4 กม. Very kind and friendly owner whom we had a very interesting talk with during our (very good) breakfast. Our room was huge and had a nice view on lake Gregory.

Very Nice place to stay in Nuwara Eliya. The host is very helpful and friendly man. He explained everything about the city and what is worth to see. The room is very clean and comfy. Hot water in bathroom.

Serendipity Lake Artistic Bungalow by Heidis Home มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในนูวาราเอลิยา และอยู่ห่างจากทะเลสาบเกรกอรี ไม่เกิน 1.2 กม. The hotel decor is original and uplifting. The owner and staff are kind and very serviceable.

RC AWKWARD มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในนูวาราเอลิยา ห่างจากทะเลสาบเกรกอรี 1.5 กม. The host (Rajith) and his family was very kind. His sister cooks very good, and Rajith is a very entertaining person.

The staff is amazing! They take so good care of you. They help you with everything. Train tickets, transport, restaurant recommendation. The hot shower is working perfectly. So does the wifi. The rooms are nice and cozy.

20/20 wood cabana ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากทะเลสาบเกรกอรี 4 กม. และให้บริการที่พักพร้อมสวน ลานระเบียง และห้องครัวส่วนกลางเพื่อความสะดวกของท่าน ทั้งอินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สาย (WiFi)... Araa and his mother are such great hosts and the kindest people ever. Room is clean, shower hot, blankets warm. Breakfast is local and very good. Mom prepared amazingly delicious dinner for us, probably the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Araa took us on tea factory & waterfalls tour for a good price and it was very enjoyable. He also went out of his way and picked us from some distant village where we got stuck after our train stopped. We felt like at our home and would definitely come back. :)

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. Chithra, Wasantha, and their darling son Rashi are very special people. The home is infused with their love and joy. If you are accustomed to staying in swank hotels do not be put off by the basic furnishing. The bed is extremely comfortable with cozy blankets, the view is spectacular, the place is spotless and the shower is warm (a rarity in Sri Lanka). The bedding smelled like soap and sunshine. Chithra and Wasantha were professional cleaners in Dubai. — Don’t miss Chithra’s dinners. She’s one of the best cooks I’ve ever met. Everyone tells her she should write a cookbook - and she should. When the tuktuk wound up the steep hill to drop me off at their home at the top, it seemed far away from town. It’s not!!! Chithra showed me a shortcut. It’s an easy path down to the town and back up. It’s not as steep as it looks. It was an easy 10 minute walk down to town and maybe a 15 minute walk back up. I enjoyed getting to know Chithra and family so I engaged them but I was the one who had to initiate that. The family’s default is to leave guests alone. Wasantha was going to take me on a couple hikes in the woods but it rained heavily so I skipped it. I would like to do it next time. I really cannot praise this place enough. I fell in love with this pure hearted family, slept better than I have in a long time, and relished Chithra’s delicious meals. I look forward to returning with friends and family. Five stars all around for this special place.
