Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. Beautiful location. Walking distance to main road with some nice restaurants within 30 mins. Information booklet in the room was helpful. Help to rent mopeds, organise transport, guides etc. The room was spacious, bed was really comfortable, hardly any creepy crawlies (this is a complaint from many of the eco lodges). Good wifi. 2 fans which was nice. Good shower pressure and temperature.

The wifi coverage is excellent. Poppy the dog and Blimp the cat are adorable ambassadors. Louis, Nick, and the team are friendly and extremely responsive. This is a special place to return to after a day of adventure in San Juan. It is also an incredible value.

An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Boasting water sports facilities and views of sea, TwoTen° Surf Home is a recently renovated guest house situated in Popoyo, a few steps from Popoyo Beach. very nice design with local materials and well situated in the area. the kitchen is well equipped. very clean . the garden is gorgeous. the owner is very nice , he helped us with lots of tips even when we left! we recommend this place for surfers or even the ones who want to relax et enjoy the ocean and the beach. there is a bar/hostel and a small supermarket juste beside and it’s a nice to have around.
