What a memorable stay and celebration. The weather wasn't great which made our stay even better. The Springbok House has a cozy fire place that warms up the entire place. Don't bother packing anything, the house was fully equipped - right down to a Potjie pot. If I can give you one tip, follow Matimba's directions to the T. We got a bit lost (entirely our own fault) but superhero Matimba checked in with us multiple times and guided us back on track. I have never had such a friendly and relieved face greet me! Down to Matimba. This man plays so many roles, Reserve Manager, Ranger, Host, Guide, Photographer and the list goes on. We had the honor of going on a game drive with Matimba - what a Blessed drive! To see the love and passion for wildlife in Matimba's eyes is truly something special. I strongly believe Matimba's compassion, warmth and friendly welcome made our stay worth more than words can explain. Well done to you Sir Matimba!

These tented suites feature a private wooden deck and an en suite bathroom with an indoor and outdoor shower. Family run safari camp with hands on owners who love conservation and take great pride in the excellence of their guides. The guides were very knowledgeable and a special shout out to Abram who is wise beyond his years. We saw great wildlife up close and personal whilst still feeling totally safe. We did both a driven safari and a walking guided safari - both were excellent and memorable. The lodge was very special and Mare, a hand reared antelope, hangs out near the lodge, which is delightful.

These luxury tents are situated on the side of the Simonsberg Mountain, with views of the Franschhoek, Paarl and the Drakenstein mountain ranges. Each tent features a private deck with sun loungers. Amazing hospitality. Great farm tour by Asi.

Featuring a terrace with views of the nearby lake and Outeniqua Mountains, this tent comes with a seating area, refrigerator and electric kettle. The tents are just amazing. It was our second time there. The ice-cream they sell is the best in the whole world. Their baby cows are so cute. The bubble bath is just to die for - really so wonderful. I would come back here again!

Includes game drives for half and full board bookings. These twin tents are located within an eco-friendly bush camp, set in a valley in the heart of the game reserve. The hotel is amazing. Before booking, the price might seem a bit expensive but with what's included in the half board package (dinner, 1 safari, 1 night), it is great value for money. The room is very big. We liked having the last one (number 14). It felt very private. Seeing zebras eating right outside the room is a fantastic experience. Our guide (Christiaan) was very friendly.

Surrounded by Karoo fynbos and within a few metres of the watering hole, these luxury tents provide an elevated view of the lodge and the surroundings. Fabulous tents so well equipped and great to be on edge of dam, although very noisy with birds. Great food and staff. Good to see the wildlife conservation, went to see lions being fed

The executive tented suites are spacious with a separate large lounge area. Each unit is elegantly decorated in colonial style with 4-poster beds and mosquito nets. The room was amazing and the views were spectacular. We went for the game drive and was able to spot 4 of the big five. The staff were all so warm, friendly and welcoming, which probably indicates how valued they feel as employees of the reserve. Highly recommend this!
