Milky way right above the huts. Couldn't be more perfect. We even met a wee tour guide that showed us the farm and the animals during the morning of the check out. Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home is comprised of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a hairdryer. Amazing tiny home in an awesome quiet, peaceful and elevated location with spectacular views down Akaroa harbour. 15 min drive into Akaroa but the tranquil peaceful location is magic. Accomodation is on a lavender farm and there are walking trails and full access to the rows of lavender. Lyn and Malcolm were exceptional hosts! Very friendly, kind and at tentative to our needs. Make sure to purchase some pacific blue lavender essential oil! Nice touches in the tiny house - with cushions that showcase the indigenous pigeons the place is named after and lavender water spray. Note that the toilet is a cassette toilet - this was not a problem for us - but it may be a surprise to others

You realise the journey to Kurow is worth it the moment you turn off onto the hidden dirt road and follow the easy signs to this secret paradise. Amber and Patrick (and Jock the Bordie Collie) greet you with warmth and professionalism before guiding you to you private sanctuary (tent) filled with fairy lights, soft faux fur rugs, a bed that rivals any 5-star hotel and a view over the valley that takes your breath away. If you're in the mood for a warm outdoor bath under the stars you're in the right place. If not, just sit out on your private deck and watch the sun set. And then there's the complimentary breakfast! Patrick and Amber gather fresh eggs laid by their hens (that you can feed should you wish) accompanied by fresh bread, butter, hand made jams/marmalade and fabulous coffee! I'll be honest, it’s not easy to please us. Having worked on the luxury travel industry for over a decade, we can get picky. But I'd pick Valley Views Glamping 100 times over and recommend it to everyone i know. Hot tip: if you can afford it and it's available definitely book the Station Peak Dome. Trust me. 😍

This Caravan offers access to the communal kitchen which is equipped with microwaves, ovens, kettles and toasters as well as cooking equipment. Nice Caravan park, Emmy partner and I stayed in one of the caravan, it was really cute. we really liked it

This mobile home consists of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. This mobile home features a carpeted floor, heating and a flat-screen TV. Perfect affordable stay. The room was cozy and clean- everything that we needed for the night! The kitchen was very nice as well. Had everything we needed to cook and even had coffee/tea and milk for us which was a nice touch. The owner was also very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. Would definitely stay again
