A scenic river in front of my room. The safari trip organized by the hotel was excellent. Dinner and breakfast were very delicious. Breakfast was arranged to be taken at the safari park and it was a new experience. The owner of the hotel, Asanka, was very kind and gave his car for a very reasonable price to go to Mirissa city. I strongly recommend for safari. There are no drawbacks.

The river front and very quiet environment is wonderful. The dinner they made (for a good price) was delicious and the safari was fantastic! We saw many animals. Would recommend to everyone!!

This is one of the best locations I’ve visited so far. Situated in a very remote area where there’s limited access to outer world. You have to take a basic nature trail to reach the destination which my family enjoyed much. once you entered the premises it’s like you stepped into another country. Very calm and peaceful environment so we need to adopt to the destination. I recommend this place to all nature lovers who look for places where you can blend with nature. Limited electricity so prepare yourself with backups. (power banks, flashlights, ect)

Kottawatta River Bank Resort er staðsett í Udawalawe, 17 km frá Udawalawe-þjóðgarðinum og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. we loved everything about our stay. it was clean, had a big room, nice pool, great food and the check-in expierience was superb! we would have loved to stay a bit longer! they arranged a safari tour for us which was absolutely fantastic. the guide was great and had a lot of knowledge about the animals and where to find them. 10/10 would recommend!

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. fantastic resort, tent that we stayed was extra clean and spacious. bathroom was clean and without any bugs even it was located outside. Two spacious spotless clean pools. Restaurant have great selection for breakfast. We took safari with hotel and was fantastic, all service provided is highly recommended. Great value for money as well

Athgira River Camp is located at the door step of Udawalawe National Park with views of Rakwana River. It’s very close to Udawalawe reservoir and to the Elephant Orphanage. A little oasis surrounded by nature and a beautiful river (very nice for reading a book!). Everything was perfect and the stuff is incredibly friendly and very helpful!
