The family is super sweet. They rent out scooters for a fair price, with helmets. I loved playing with their cats. IF you're planning to take the train the morning after, it's very close to the station. The room is clean and comfortable. I very much appreciated that there was a squeegee in the bathroom so we can keep the bathroom clean in between housekeeping. The property is located on a small but steep hill. It takes about 30 seconds of climbing, so I don't think it's an issue for most healthy people but it's a good information to have.

Guests will find a refrigerator and a tea and coffee maker in the kitchenette. The tent also has a barbecue. Arriving in this unique pearl in Ella was absolutely breathtaking. The tent was unique, scenic view was stunning and the related house for baths/washroom was super nice too. The most amazing part was however the caretaker Damanyanthi’s incredible care for us. She cooked us the best meals we’ve had in our time in Sri Lanka - from coconut pancakes to the best curries, daal, veggie dishes. She was always so kind, supportive with suggestions and helpful for our trip. She replies within the minute(!!!) and is absolutely the best host. We cannot recommend this place and her care enough.

I really regret that we could stay only for one night. The sunrise was simply unbelievable. A view of the tea fields, peacocks flying around - Like in a fairy tale. In addition, the hosts took care of delicious food! In the evening there was a barbecue and a bonfire. We met wonderful people, because probably only such people decide to stay in such a place. I will definitely return people here for my next trip to Sri Lanka.

We had a really good time. The host is super friendly and helpful. He gave his best to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We even got two extra blankets and a breakfast pack at 4:30am. He definitely kept his promise to be there 24 hours if we needed anything. The accommodation itself is great. Close to the city life but still in the middle of nature.
