He drove us to 2 temples along the way in an unbelievable hot day. Our whole family likes him a lot. Hope he has a safe trip back home.

The rooms are understandably basic but comfortable to sleep in, and it's only a short walk from the public ferry. Remember to bring your own toiletries!

Hospitality, everyone was warm and welcoming, the owner was very helpful and helped us to get things for the right prices, even drove us around town. The rooms were very clean. We stayed in December and it had heating, and hot water for shower.

Overall, we genuinely enjoyed this experience and the people we encountered here. Great stay for a genuine Nubian village experience.
