The driver to Luxor (i even didn’t know his name) is really nice, careful, and thoughtful. He drove us to 2 temples along the way in an unbelievable hot day. Our whole family likes him a lot. Hope he has a safe trip back home.

I felt immediately at home when I first arrived, and despite the great museums and attractions nearby, I spent most of my free time on the terrace enjoying the sun, Nubian music, and just chatting to Bassam. The rooms are understandably basic but comfortable to sleep in, and it's only a short walk from the public ferry. Remember to bring your own toiletries!

Wir hatten kürzlich einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt im Kabara Nubian House in Abu Simbel. Das Hotel ist wunderschön und sehr authentisch eingerichtet. Die Wände sind mit bunten Malereien verziert, die die Geschichte und Kultur der Nubier widerspiegeln. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die ganze Familie hilft mit. Die Zimmer sind gross und sauber. Das Essen im Restaurant ist fantastisch. Es werden sehr frische und leckere traditionelle Gerichte serviert und auch der vom Junior des Hauses frisch zubereitete Bunaa-Kaffee ist sehr lecker. Das Kabara Nubian House ist der perfekte Ort, um in die Geschichte und Kultur des alten Ägyptens einzutauchen. Das Hotel liegt nicht weit von den berühmten Tempelanlagen von Abu Simbel entfernt.

Die Unterkunft Nubian Farm Aswan befindet sich in Assuan und bietet kostenloses WLAN. Gäste genießen einen Garten, eine Terrasse und eine Bar. True Nubian Village experience complete with farm animals, freshly prepared Nubian meals, and excellent hospitality from the staff. (Note, this is not a hotel with the usual amenities like memory foam mattresses, towels in abundance, extra toiletries, central air, etc. If you are looking for that, then this is not the place for you.) Mamoud made the different for us during our stay. He is the guest services manager and he was punctual with responding to any requests we may have had and supplying us with information to get around town etc. Also a plus, the property is on the Nile River, which presented multiple opportunities for amateur and professional photo shoots. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed this experience and the people we encountered here. Great stay for a genuine Nubian village experience.
