The driver to Luxor (i even didn’t know his name) is really nice, careful, and thoughtful. He drove us to 2 temples along the way in an unbelievable hot day. Our whole family likes him a lot. Hope he has a safe trip back home.

I felt immediately at home when I first arrived, and despite the great museums and attractions nearby, I spent most of my free time on the terrace enjoying the sun, Nubian music, and just chatting to Bassam. The rooms are understandably basic but comfortable to sleep in, and it's only a short walk from the public ferry. Remember to bring your own toiletries!

Et dejligt hotel med hjælpsom, flink og behageligt personale. Maden var meget smagfuldt og der var nok af det og til rimelige priser. Ligger perfekt i forhold til templet. Hotellet kan hjælpe med at arrangere bådtur om morgen og lyd og lysshow om aftenen til templet. Kommer gerne tilbage.

Nubian Farm Aswan ligger i Aswan, blot 23 km fra Aga Khan-mausoleet, og tilbyder indkvartering ved stranden med privat strandområde, have, bar og gratis wi-fi. True Nubian Village experience complete with farm animals, freshly prepared Nubian meals, and excellent hospitality from the staff. (Note, this is not a hotel with the usual amenities like memory foam mattresses, towels in abundance, extra toiletries, central air, etc. If you are looking for that, then this is not the place for you.) Mamoud made the different for us during our stay. He is the guest services manager and he was punctual with responding to any requests we may have had and supplying us with information to get around town etc. Also a plus, the property is on the Nile River, which presented multiple opportunities for amateur and professional photo shoots. Overall, we genuinely enjoyed this experience and the people we encountered here. Great stay for a genuine Nubian village experience.
