Michel is the perfect host: always ready to help out and organize activities and with a deep knowledge of the region (his recommendations were always spot on). The sunset boat ride looking for beavers among the marshes and islands was definitely a highlight, as was the Québecois music evening around the grill teepee. The taste is eclectic and well sorted, which makes the Hébergement beautiful. Definitely worth staying more than one night to profit from all that the place offers. Please keep in mind that Québec is rather French-speaking: some knowledge of the language will get you much further.

Went to Orford for the eclipse. The Pods were terrific, living up to the ratings by previous visitors. The proprietor was friendly and helped us with any requests we had. There's a nice trail to a Sugaring Shack (about a mile) that we walked; a bit muddy with snow this time of year, but worth going. All in all we had a great time!

The completely ecclectic and colourful decor is visual eye candy (totally IG worthy)! The bathroom was modern, stunning and sparkling clean. The pillows, duvet and sheets were plush and soft. Lea was amazing! She answered all of our questions. She also gave helpful suggestions for breakfast and dinner alternatives when the restaurant was closed. Not only would I recommend this motel but I would also go back to stay in the different rooms and trailer :)

Yourtes Glamping du Poisson Blanc situa-se a 47 km de Mont Ste Marie e dispõe de acomodações com um jardim, um terraço e uma receção aberta 24 horas, para sua conveniência. The yurt was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The staff and owners are very friendly and hospitable. The lake is pristine and quiet. We felt very much at home and relaxed. We are sure to return for another week next year.
