The best place I have stayed in Sri Lanka. Good food, good prices, cool people and great vibes. I have never really seen a crowded hostel. This hostel is very crowded. I met many tourists. The owners of the hostel 'Maliya' are qualified guides in Sri Lanka. He knows a lot about Sri Lanka. He has individual and group tour packages. You don't have to stress. He makes your stay very comfortable. I highly recommend the lake and sunset tour in particular. and safari adventures followed by massage treatments (ask Malia, he knows places with good quality services and good prices). Beautiful property with lots of nature and the sounds of wildlife. We booked a family suite that was very big and spacious and the beds were very big. The staff were very friendly and professional and were always ready to assist us with our inquiries. They kept checking on us and were always asking if we needed anything. The manager was very friendly and went out of his way to satisfy our requests. The resort was only a 30 minute drive from sigiriya rock. You can also book other activities at the hotel like a safari or a local village tour which we enjoyed with the family. The food was good too and the staff prepared the food the way we liked it which was another plus.
