Boasting garden views, Obkirchhof features accommodation with balcony, around 28 km from Train station Maia Bassa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. We were traveling with extended family and occupied both apartments situated on the ground floor (from the hill side) with its own antechamber. Both apartments have a balcony with stunning views of the village and the Alps. The Egger family lives upstairs and is very friendly and welcoming (they also include a free bottle of milk each morning). Both apartments were clean and warm and furnished with high quality wooden furniture. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms were impeccable. The whole house is built in traditional style but has been recently renovated (with central heating). The house is very spacious and so are the apartments - much bigger than they appear on the photos. The location is very good - relatively close to the Merano2000 and would recommend for skiing season HQ. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, there was no snow, but if there was, snow sleds for kids were available in the yard as well as the very inviting slopes all around the house. There is also a grill and a large table and because the surroundings are also great for hiking, I'm sure the Obkirchhof property would meet the needs of summer visitors as well.

Our stay was perfect. The room was wonderful and the host and staff even better. We had a glorious dinner and were treated to a special tasting of local liqueurs by the host. We can not recommend Agriturismo San Gallo highly enough.

Beautiful chalet style accommodation, huge rooms with 2 bathrooms and amazing views. The people are lovely and kind and the breakfast is just incredible, with amazing home baked treats. A short walk into Merano and beautiful nature trails starting just behind the accommodation. You will be well rested, well fed and a bit happier if you stay here!

Featuring mountain views, Lochbauer offers accommodation with balcony, around 26 km from Touriseum museum. The farm stay features a spa experience, with its sauna, hot tub and spa facilities. The atmosphere is just wonderful. We felt welcomed and appreciated. The view from the bed in the morning is stunning. The spa is really nice as well. We love the location. Absolutely great for nature lovers! A big plus for us was how easy everything was with our dog.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Torgnon, Agriturismo La Clochette is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. very comfortable and friendly staff

Located in Cividale del Friuli, in a historic building, 28 km from Palmanova Outlet Village, Il Rifugio del Monaco is a farm stay with free bikes and garden. The rifugio, which is an ex monastery, is very well and thoughtfully renovated, and located a bit out of the town. We enjoyed staying in a really unique room which inspired us to think about the history of this place, their inhabitants, nuns and monks. The owner is very nice and helpful, she took time to show us the old church and explained the history of the property. Close to the monestary there is a wonderful, even mystical garden full of lavandas, rosemarin, roses and other Mediterranean plants. Also the breakfast was delicious and served in an antique dinning room. Everything was super clean. We spent wonderful time in the rifugio and if comming back to Cividale, we will definitely choose again to stay here. If you like historical places and like to try something unusual, this place is worth trying.
