Built in 1874, this Victorian bed and breakfast is surrounded by lush landscaped gardens and 3 blocks of city parks. It features gourmet breakfast and evening wine tastings. ~ Beautiful and historic rooms in keeping with the house. ~ stunning gardens surrounding the property ~ Breakfast was fantastic - a 3 course meal with the main meal something different each day, cooked perfectly alongside fantastic service! ~ Lovely warm scones and cookies served in the afternoon and evening. ~ Complete with fantastic hour d’oeuvres served early evening which varied each day and all delicious ~ turn down service each night ~ relaxing place, quiet and peaceful ~ one of the best hotels in California!!

This Santa Barbara, California hotel is located 3 miles from Stearn’s Wharf on the Pacific Ocean. The hotel offers free WiFi and cable TV in every room. Hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time. All of the staff were amazing! The front desk staff helped us navigate how to arrange for the shuttle, gave great tips about the area including which places were safe to walk at night, even drawing out on a map places they recommended visiting. Shuttle drivers are awesome getting us to and from airport even as we juggled with cancelled flights and flooding. They were all so friendly and genuinely caring. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Very quiet stay. Enjoyed the variety of coffee available and the perk of being able to make a complimentary hot oatmeal or grab an apple or orange if wanted to gab something quick instead of go and eat a sit down breakfast in the restaurant.

Quietly elegant yet home-like, my experience of Palihouse was a delight. The staff are all—to a person— kind and welcoming, and the vibe is warm, familiar, well-curated and much like a club of which you’re a long-time, valued member. The room was very spacious, extraordinarily well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable. A private taste of SoCal at its best; I’ll definitely be returning.

Located 6 minutes’ drive from Stearns Wharf, this Santa Barbara hotel offers free parking to guests. It also features hypoallergenic bedding and amenities. Very well located. The room was very nice. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and willing to help with suggestions and tourist tips. Oh and free bike rental!!! I wish we could stay more days.
