Built in 1856, this hotel is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and is located in Philadelphia's Historic District, only 2 blocks from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. It was amazing. The location is great to stroll around the sites. The bed was welcoming and the room was really simple but inviting. I loved it.

From the check-in to the check out it was absolutely perfect! The room was so cozy and beautifully designed. The staff at the reception was beyond amazing - especially during the check out when a staff member (sadly we don't remember his name) gave us delicious cupcakes for the road, although we were totally late for breakfast :))

Cozy hotel located in a historic building, with matching decor. We think there was only one other person staying there besides us. The highlight of our or stay was the breakfast - by far the best breakfast we ever had in any hotel! The person cooking the breakfast prepares it right there, so it feels like a home-cooked meal and the portions are very generous and very tasty. One of us eats vegan and got a special - likewise tasty - meal. They also put out cookies in the evening for the hotel guests, and they had prepared separate vegan cookies. The hotel is located in historic center of Philadelphia and is about 10 minutes walk from Independence Hall and Liberty Bell and about 5 minutes walk from the nearest subway station.
