The Beekman Tower, Trademark Collection by Wyndham ligger i New York og har fitnesscenter, fælles opholdsstue, restaurant og bar. Lejligheden fungerede godt. Den var stor 😊. Køkkenet indeholdt alt hvad der var brug for. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og høflige. Det fungerede godt at skrive beskeder med hotellet før, under og efter opholdet. Beliggenheden var rigtig god, 15 min gang fra Grand Central Station. Masser af butikker med mad og små restauranter rundt om hjørnet. Rooftop baren Ophelia er en must-see/must-try 😃. Lækre, avancerede drinks 👍

If our feet got tired, we walked back to the hotel to take a little rest, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything about this hotel speaks to you of the golden age of travel! Nothing like the modern concept of a small room with a bed to sleep in for a couple of nights after working all day in the city. Here you are made to feel welcome, you are cosseted from the time you enter to the time you leave. First impression is great - a huge open lobby with the reception desks in the right and a large semicircular bar at center left with tables all around and a small dining room behind. There's always a buzz there at whatever time you walk in, and the food and drinks are impeccable. The room was very comfortable with a large bed and plenty of space. The bathroom a pleasure and decorated with a traditional vibe that was somehow completely up to date. Room service was fast, though make up service erred on the discreet side when we went out late one morning and came back at the end of the afternoon to find the room untouched. However a call to the front desk rectified this immediately. All in all a great experience that more than made up for the mistake we made by staying for one night in one of those chic modern flophouses I referred to above! The Intercontinental Barclay will definitely be out home from home in New York from now on.
