Bed was very comfy and everything was super clean. Very friendly and great location - about 2 minutes walk from metro, yet super quiet. Perfect for either a long or a short stay in Bangkok.

Packed full with recreational activities, Sivalai Place offers spacious air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. We loved the quiet area of Bangkok, yet very close to the Metro trains. Cheaper and great food. Highly recommend the small, family owned restaurant right next to the hotel and 7-11. We ate there all the time. The family at the hotel were very kind, helpful and gracious. We extended our stay and were given a great discount! Pots and pans are available upon request (I saw some reviews mentioning otherwise). The pool was amazing, fully shaded, due to the height of the hotel. The roof terrace provides great views, the tennis courts were well-maintained. The washing machines are super cheap and wash well, all extra detergents and coins are available at the front desk. They even have lots of snacks at regular store prices. Oli, the daughter of the owner gave us a free ride to the metro, on the day of our departure, which was so kind. Overall very comfortable, spacious rooms, great housekeeping and plenty of room to work. We will definitely return, if visiting Bangkok in the future.

Situato nel quartiere Bangkok Yai di Bangkok, l'OYO 881 Sp Tha Phra sorge a 5 km da Wat Arun, dal Wat Pho e dal Tempio del Buddha di Smeraldo. Nothing about this stay was good. We booked 2 nights, stayed 1 only as the room was disgusting. It was filthy, the plug sockets were held on the wall with celotape, there's was no pillow or duvet covers, and when we asked for some they said they don't have any !?! It was ant infested, the walls were crumbling to bits and the 'city view' was a brick wall of the building next door. When we opened the fridge it smelt as ifba dead rat had been stuck on there for a year! Mud/poo smeared on the AC system

Located just 700 metres from Wat Arun, Baan Suandao Wat Arun provides accommodation in Bangkok with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as bicycle parking. It’s very good, room is clean and comfortable, the area is local and quiet, but a little far away from airport, but in general it’s easy to get anywhere, the staff is very friendly and helpful, giving your all the information you need

Struttura tipica thailandese, vicinissima al complesso del wat Arun, a due passi dal traghetto che porta dall’altro lato del fiume. Consigliatissimo se volte stare lontanto dal caos ma in una zona centrale. Simpaticissimo e disponibile il gestore della struttura

Featuring a garden and views of city, neil niwas is a homestay situated in a historic building in Bangkok, 1 km from Wat Arun. It's hard to know where to start as it was such a wonderful stay and highlight of the trip. The host is so lovely, knowledgeable and helpful and bent over backwards to make sure we had the best experience (take a private boat tour if you can, it is well worth it!). The property has so much heritage and is beautiful inside and out, the styling and decor is such a credit to the passion behind it. Loved staying in the Deer room though they all look incredible. Location wise it is really easy to get around with major monuments such as Wat Arun within walking distance, The Grand Palace being a short ferry away from that. There is a major train line a short walk away if you want to go out further which connects easily onto other lines, it's also easy to get a taxi as needed. The area feels really low key and local which is really nice, there is a street food market up the road near the train line entrance as well as 7/11's for bits and pieces and late night eats. The breakfast was such a highlight of the stay. So beautifully presented and created, loved that you have the option to switch it up each day. Even if you select the same type of breakfast each day it does change, especially the sides which are fun little goodies and yummy fruit. The drinks that come with them as well were perfect, I loved the tea and juice selection in particular, and the hot chocolate was a nice treat.

The staff was smiley and helpful, she spoke only Thai, but there were sings explaining everything I might've not get in English. The room was clean, with free "mini bar" that we didn't use, but was very nice. The bed was comfortable The room was nicely designed, with places to put our luggage and clothes, desk, and everything you might need for longer stay.

Situato a Bangkok, a 850 m da Wat Arun e a 120 m dalla stazione della metropolitana Itsaraphap MRT, l'Arun Old Town offre il servizio concierge, camere non fumatori, un giardino, il WiFi gratuito e un... Struttura carina, le camere dispongono di aria condizionata. Posizione comoda perché la metro (Blue line) è proprio accanto all'ostello e quindi si riescono a raggiungere comodamente le principali attrazioni turistiche. Ho letto che l'ostello organizza anche dei tour tra cui quello al floating market. Noi non ne abbiamo usufruito ma credo sia molto interessante.
