Pool was like in the pics Only downside, was that location is not central. For us this was not a problem as we had a car and used it to get everywhere easily. Breakfast was plentiful as was the dinner buffet. Would definitely come again.

Set 50 metres from the Campanhã Train and Metro Station, Poveira Hotel is a family-run guest house in Porto. Situated in a historic building, it offers a well-stocked bar and a coffee shop. The staff were the kindest and sweetest and most helpful hotel staff I have ever encountered in all Portugal. I so appreciated their help in getting me an Uber driver at 3 in the morning to get to the airport. The location was great, and the little Portuguese restaurant three doors down that they recommended was a delightful place also. Thank you so much, Poveira staff for providing me a beautiful little haven where I could rest and rely on others to help take care of me. I was sick, and I needed that lovely, calm hotel at a price I could afford.

The area is not so nice, but it's really close to the metro and supermarkets. The hostel itself is beautiful and so was my bedroom.
