Pousada Alfama está muy bien situado en el barrio de Santa Maria Maior, Lisboa, a 13 min a pie de Plaza del Comercio, a 400 metros de Castillo de San Jorge y a 14 min a pie de Plaza Rossio. The hotel is located within walking distance from some very important historical landmarks (the Lisbon Cathedral, Saint George's Castle, the National Pantheon, the Rua Augusta Arch, etc.) and quite close to the main Rossio square. You have quite a lot of restaurants nearby, although transportation around Alfama (other than a couple of trams, including the historical 28E, and a bus to the castle) is relatively scarce. However, it wasn't an issue to get around on foot. While the hotel is in a very touristic area, the rooms are very well soundproof and you won't be bothered by the noise on the busy streets around. I'd say the rooms are about the right size (not too big, not too small), really comfortable, squeaky clean and the breakfast at the hotel was very good (quite a lot of options). The welcome gift (custard tarts, Ginja liqueur and a hand painted tile) were a lovely detail. To top it all off, the personnel was incredibly kind and helpful. Every single one of them. I think it is the best hotel I've have stayed in so far! If you are planning to go to Lisbon, you can't go wrong with them.

Miradouro de Santa Luzia está en el centro de Lisboa, a solo menos de 1 km de Plaza del Comercio y a 5 min a pie de Castillo de San Jorge, y ofrece alojamiento con vistas al río y wifi gratis. We LOVED everything. The apartment is light, very clean and spacious, the view is incredible ….the best view in Lisbon (it IS on every poster of Lisbon!). I think it is the best location to stay in Lisbon. It is in the middle of everything, yet very quiet! My son who stayed behind for a few more days was lucky to re-book the property for only 2 days it was available.

Agnes is a brilliant host! Overall 10/10 !! Perfect location in the heart of Alfama, we had dinner with fado music in the restaurant right beside the apartment and it was so good! Despite being in the centre the apartment is quiet, very clean and good working AC which was needed in the july heat. 2 mins walk up to the stunning miradouro view points, easy transportation. Will come back for sure!

El Hostel Petit Lusa se encuentra en el histórico barrio de Alfama, en Lisboa, y dispone de una habitación familiar amplia y de habitaciones privadas con baño. Very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. They helped me surprise my girlfriend with local vine and beer. Only the best experience. Would recommend for everyone. Good location!
