This design hotel is directly connected to Bergen Airport. It offers free Wi-Fi and soundproofed rooms with flat-screen TVs. The hotel has a top-floor relax area with a gym. My husband was just out of hospital and we needed more help than usual. The staff were excellent, lent us the hotel wheelchair, helped with luggage and transporting us to the airport building.

This hotel is 5 minutes’ drive from Bergen Flesland Airport and about a 20-minute ride from Bergen. It offers free WiFi, as well as private indoor and outdoor parking for an extra charge. I travel a lot through Europe and spend the night in the most diverse locations. For this trip I ended up in Bergen. A beautiful town in Fjord rich Norway. My schedule ran out in such a way that I ended up in Quality Hotel Edvard Grieg, which is also close to the airport, about half an hour from the center. The namesake is a very famous person in Bergen, look it up. On arrival I was surprised by the size of the Hotel and the striking lighting made me think I was on Broadway New York or on The Strip in Vegas. But this was picturesque Bergen and I didn't expect that. The welcome at the reception, the service and the spacious modern room were "simply" excellent! Unfortunately I had to leave early again so I had to skip breakfast this time. However, the lady at the reception had noticed this and had a packed lunch prepared for me. The breakfast buffet is the best of all hotels in Bergen! The variety is enormous and it has gluten- and laktose free components. 🤩🥰 The bedding is so very comfortable that I seriously thought of asking to buy a set of pillow and duvet. 🤩
