Hotel Fogo Amsterdam is goed gelegen in de wijk Osdorp in Amsterdam, en ligt op 8,2 km van Vondelpark, 9,1 km van Leidseplein en 9,3 km van Van Gogh Museum. Staff were very friendly, and our stay was very nice.

Morpheus ligt op 6,1 km van Vondelpark en biedt een tuin. De accommodaties hebben airconditioning, een balkon en gratis WiFi. Morpheus was lovely. The owner was considerate, kind, and helpful. He and his friendly dog put me at ease as a solo traveller. The amenities were clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The breakfast was so generous that I would save the rest to eat later. The location was idyllic on a river and accessible by public transport. (From Schiphol Airport to Morpheus, bus #195 from platforms 5-7. From Morpheus to downtown Amsterdam, there are options, bus #195 and then exit at Louwesweg to board tram #2. Or walk and then take metro line #51 at Heemstedestraat to Centraal. Cycling in and around downtown and going on the ferries was convenient, as was travelling outside Amsterdam using the rail network.) At Morpheus, I would remember dreaming every night during my stay. On the day of my departure to the airport, I happily noticed a ladybug in the room and released it outside like a ceremonial send-off. Booked the property as the description, the location and the price were good. As usual, I lowered my expectations and prepared myself for any small things that will go wrong, intending not to let anything spoil the vacation. The hosts were able to meet us earlier and let us leave the baggage before we went out to catch some daylight. The place was clean already, and I said that it's ok with me as it is, but the hosts insisted they need more time to clean it even more. More surprises came on, the sauna is working and is all my own. I couldn't believe it. I saw the title but imagined it to be a gimmick, or to have some catch, but it hasn't. I felt for a few days like an oligarch staying in a private suite at a 5 stars resort. You can lift the property, including the garden and your private sauna, and put it in a 5* hotel, and you'll have a presidential suite. The location? A plus for for any adults looking to be close enough to the center to visit sights, far enough to have a peaceful quiet time in the garden and at night. No traffic out of my window for a 55 Y old trying to fight insomnia means a lot of energy next day discovering Amsterdam. 20 min in a tram is not a price to pay, it's a joy when the tram gives you a sighting tour of new and old Amsterdam. Never stayed in a place so blatantly good that it's actually under-selling itself in the description. Future travelers: don't ruin the place and the owner's believe that hosting can be done not only by making your property a money machine, but also leaving an impression on the visitors. I will treasure my memories about this short visit in Amsterdam as they are intertwined with a moral conclusion - there are still good people at work in hospitality industry.

The studio I can say was really comfortable for me and my family. The owner was also really helpful and open person. I recommend for family’s definitely. Thank you very much Nathalie.

Gelegen in de New West regio van Amsterdam. Zeer dicht bij de luchthaven Schiphol, Amsterdam Woods stranden op 7 minuten rijden of 10 minuten met de fiets. Everything was perfect and the house is at 5 min walking from a tram station so i would come back with pleasure. Thanks a lot for the good experience 🫶
