Super Hotel JR Shin-Osaka Higashiguchi offers Western-style accommodations with free wired internet access. Many thoughtful details along with a genuine dedication to sustainable practices. I came in out of a downpour to check in, was soaking wet and the thoughtful staff welcomed me with a towel to dry off first thing. Later, when I went out for food, staff directed me to where they keep the umbrellas for visitor use. The thoughtfulness didn't stop there... my room was detailed down to the crisply clean and pleated shower curtain. A choice of nine different kind pillows, pajamas and green tea helped make be feel right at home here.

Conveniently situated just a 4-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Shinkansen Station East exit, Shin-Osaka Station Hotel offers cosy rooms with a flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is available. The rooms were spacious compared to Tokyo hotels The breakfast, though basic, was nice and just enough. The location was strategic for Shinkansen and basically travel to anywhere. It was a boutique hotel in a quiet residential area which was a welcome relief from touristy areas in Osaka and Kyoto. The toiletries!

Set within 400 metres of TKP Shin Osaka Ekimae Conference Centre and 300 metres of Hinode Minami Park, Toyoko Inn Shin-Osaka-eki Higashi-guchi offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom... We had a great time staying here. The breakfast was awesome! We had great Japanese breakfast which was different everyday. We stayed for 3 nights. The breakfast combination was really nice. Staff was lovely.

Only a 1-minute walk from JR Shin-Osaka Shinkansen Station, Hotel Shin Osaka features rooms with free wired internet. Massages are available for relaxation. I've stayed in this hotel before so I knew in advance what I was booking. I particularly like it's location due to it's proximity to the Shin-Osaka station, which saves a lot of time when you arrive or depart the city or just go on a daytrip from Osaka and back like I did. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet and you have your privacy. Just don't expect nice views (the hotel is surrounded by blocks) or too much space. It covers all the basic needs for a solo travel so I would always check in here when/if I'm in Osaka again!
