In a prime location in the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Kyoto Station West is located 1.2 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 2.2 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 2.6 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan... The smell in the lobby was awesome. Everything else worked perfectly as well. Very close to the Kioto Railway Station made it greatly located. The room was spacious and very convenient. Highly recommended!

Attractively located in the Minami Ward district of Kyoto, GLANZ KEI Kyoto Station is situated 1.1 km from TKP Garden City Kyoto, 2.1 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple and 3 km from Tofuku-ji Temple. One gets the feeling that if this was not an apart-hotel, it would be an upscale Japanese condo. It’s very well located, a 10 minute (for us) walk from the Kyoto rail station, next to a four-story AEON mall which has a reasonable food court and a full range grocery store. Close to Kyoto’s excellent public bus system. Security is good (but see negative comment below), with deadbolt and high security key access. Apartments are sizeable, and there are only two apartments on each floor, separated by an elevator, so noise is not a problem. The Booking website shows the room layout accurately. Rooms are a good size, but note no storage, only hangers. Bed is comfortable, with duvets. Toilet is separate from the bathroom, a handy feature; note, however, that the toilet is in a very compact room – think Boeing 737MAX size, and mobility challenged people may have an issue. The bathroom itself allows freedom of movement. There’s a tub, with separate shower. Shower pressure and volume is excellent, and there’s good lighting in the washbasin area. The apartment has been very recently built or redone; very little evidence of wear. Staff are very friendly and congenial, with very good skill in English. Unit was spotlessly clean. Lighting in all the living areas was excellent, making for easy reading or board game playing in the evenings. Wifi was acceptable for our use, but not exceptionally fast, at 5 Mbps early on a Sunday morning. The TV in the kitchen/dining/living area was huge, and we enjoyed the ability to use our Netflix and Amazon Prime memberships, given that we couldn’t find any English language programs on the satellite channels. Air conditioning is provided by ductless units in the living and bedroom areas; they worked effectively and silently. The washing machine worked well; kudos to management for including detailed instructions in English, something many other places lack. Clothes drying is by rack. Situated conveniently in the centre of Kyoto, Hotel Imagine Kyoto offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Room was very spacious and clean with both bed and futons, the owner was very kind and helpful (thank you for recommending us places to visit for momiji viewing). Hotel is close to Kyoto station making it a great localization for fast traveling. Close to the hotel there are a lot of restaurants open till late night hours so you don't have to worry about lack of places to go to eat

Sunrise Suites is located in Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Toji Station. Guests can explore Toji Temple, just a 4-minute walk from the property. Gorgeous interior with gardens. Room was very spacious which we appreciated as at the end of a long day we wanted to relax and not have to sit on the bed. The room also had a small kitchenette and a washing machine/dryer which was very handy.

The staff are super friendly, love the added “22 Pieces” that you can rent free of charge during your stay. Large spacious rooms and super comfortable beds.

Attractively located in the centre of Kyoto, ikoi HOTEL features free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. They were so accommodating and helpful! The room was very clean and the bathroom was significantly larger than other hotels we stayed at in Japan. I highly recommend staying here.
