Lovely location away from touristy spots but still only a ten minute taxi ride to Gion. Great to watch the local people on the river and to see the black kites. Breakfast delivered to our apartment every morning … a nice touch. One of us developed a chest infection while staying .. the staff went to extraordinary lengths to help us with the doctor and made sure we were ok. Delightful people.

Conveniently set in the center of Kyoto, Kyoto Earth Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms, free bikes and a garden. The room was really nice, we took the one on the ground floor with a small garden. The room was spacious compared to other Japanese hotel rooms and the toilet was great. I love the wet room (shower + bathtab).

Hotel Ninja Black is well located in Kyoto, and features a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Hotel was as advertised. Rooms were clean, relatively spacious, and the hotel has a ninja theme. The check-in was fast and efficient. There is a vending machine for drinks inside, that is appreciated. There is also a common room where you can grab a drink along with a selection of books in English and Japanese. In addition, there is a garden outside with a couple of tables. The location is close to the Imperial Palace, there are a few convenience stores nearby and other food joints.

Set in Nishijin, Villa Front Kyoto Seimei ヴィラフロント京都晴明 offers accommodations with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. A microwave and kettle are also featured. The room was amazing. Very close with the bus stop and Family Mart. The electric was completely. I recommend this place for everyone visiting.
