Overlooking the Bay of Naples, Hotel Excelsior features a terrace and a rooftop restaurant. Set 300 metres from Castel dell'Ovo, it offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi throughout. Set in a quiet area near the Molo Beverello harbour and Castel dell'Ovo, Rex Hotel offers a central location close to public transport and main monuments of Naples. Loved the location - calm and right next to the seaside but also close to the city centre and piazza plebiscito. The staff was really friendly and helpful and the rooms were great. Perfect stay if you are planning to visit Napoli.

At the reception, Olga and Carmine helped me to get a ticket for Napoli-Liverpool football. Carmine helped with the translation into Italian, with registration, ticket printing, suggested the best place at the stadium. I was happy with Carmine's level of responsiveness and care. Olga helped with the search for the San Carlo Opera. I had a great time in Naples. For breakfast there was a delicious omelette with a fantastic view of the castle. The best location in Naples. The Liverpool football team lived in a nearby hotel.

Hotel Ausonia offers a warm atmosphere in the exclusive setting of Via Caracciolo on the Mergellina seaside promenade, where Neapolitans enjoy evening strolls with a view of the Gulf. Staying out of Naples in Mergallina was such a bonus - beautiful and close to Metro if you want it. We only used it for Pompeii as everything we wanted to see we could walk to and hop on hop off bus drives past if you want. We stayed in the sea view room which we would reccomended as it was in a different building - a small apartment - big room and very big bathroom. Great value for money. I liked being able to open the balcony doors and there is a side sea view. You have your keys and can come and go as you like. Cleaned daily and continental breakfast provided in the main building. The family who run it are very accommodating and helpful. 😊
