It includes a free parking at the main street which is very convenient as there is not so much space at the lake. From there you need to take a few stairs to get to the apartment, which is bit of a struggle to get your luggage up but it makes that you have a nice view over the lake from the little terrace in front of the apartment. The apartment is well organized, lovely decorated and very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and has everything you need (including dish washer, coffee machine with a few free capsules, all kitchen tools, etc.). The bathroom and shower were clean and perfect, the bed was very comfortable. You can still hear the busy road a bit but if you keep the windows closed (there is air-conditioning), it doesn't disturb you. Locarno is a 10-min drive from the apartment. The host is very friendly and communication was good (he speaks French and German).

Located right on the shore of Lake Maggiore in Porto Ronco, Casa Conti al Lago features a private lake access with a private pier, as well as a garden with a terrace. I really loved my stay at Casa Conti and the marvelous room, it has such a spectacular and a very close view on lake Maggiore that makes the place extra special, and the rooms has a very fine taste spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. I highly recommend this exceptionally beautiful place and the very kind and hospital Family Conti that are always very responsive and present and very caring.
