A soli 8 km dal centro della città di Lucerna, l'Hotel Thorenberg, a conduzione familiare, con il suo ristorante Maximo, vi accoglie nelle immediate vicinanze della stazione ferroviaria di Littau. We have stayed here many times in the past on our journey home from Italy. It is a perfect distance for our first overnight stop.We had a very warm welcome, as always, and everything about the hotel was delightful. I must make a special mention of Maxim's cooking. The meals are really exceptional- not cheap, but well worth the expense as an occasional treat. A big thank you to him and all his family and staff.

L'Apartment Littau si trova a Lucerna, a 6 km dal Monumento del Leone e dal Ponte della Cappella, in una zona ideale per le escursioni. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. I coordinated my arrival with the host ahead of time and picked up the keys after a 15 minute wait outside. The unit has a clothing washer but no dryer so I did my laundry in Lucerne the day I left.

This was an absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Pius was great and responsive if we had any questions. We had one minor bathroom issue that he fixed right away. The property is located not too far from town so you don't get the busy city sounds at night but you're only 10-15 minutes away to see Old Town. The scenery is next to none. Everyone thinks my photographs are paintings, it doesn't look real how beautiful it is. Highly recommend staying here!
