The location was quiet and had local charm. Notable was the quality of fittings and style. It’s different and we enjoyed it. The communal area was a spacious bonus for us as two couples.

El B&B De Waterzooi ofrece 3 suites con conexión de wifi gratis en una casa que data de 1713 en el centro de Gante. De Waterzooi was such a lovely place to stay! We stayed in the 1st floor suite and it far exceeded our expectations. The view you won't believe it until you see it! The castle looked fake almost through the large windows. Location was perfect. The room was beyond spacious with a huge living area with very comfortable sectional couch and amazing views of the castle. The bedroom was cozy and the bed was memory foam with controls for each side to adjust height. The rain shower was great. We also had a private terrace with lounge chairs that was lovely to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine and Belgian beers! Above all the owners were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast is worth the extra charge. It was by far the best breakfast we received all trip. We even received a parting gift which was a lovely touch. Would absolutely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to return to Ghent.
