Location was convenient for me. Closer to tram station, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Center (my conference venue), train station (Crossroad) and food outlets. The room and bed were maintained and cleaned on daily basis. Although there were no security personal seen, I felt safe sharing the same access with the hotels' bar/dining customers.

Newly refurbished Mercure Melbourne Southbank is ideally located just 601m from Southbank Promenade on the Yarra River, a 10 min walk to the popular Bourke Street Mall, 15 minutes' walk from Crown... Close to restaurants, shops and facilities. It was a very safe location and everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful.
