The hotel room was spacious, bright & modern. One of the best hotel rooms we've stayed in. Breakfast was exceptional and unexpected. We found the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Honestly couldn't fault anything.

The reception staff was awesome, very very welcoming and friendly, had a nice chat, got some tips for Adelaide - that's how it should be. Nice room with big windows - there's not much view, but that's not the hotel's fault, this corner is a bit more residential than old town - and therefore also quiet at night. Quiet room, nice beds, everything looks quite new. Walking to the city centre is about 10-15mins, as is to the National Wine Centre. The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves good food for dinner and also a decent breakfast. The car can be safely stored in a garage at an alley behind the hotel.

With a Modern French restaurant, Sofitel Adelaide is situated in Adelaide in the South Australian region, 400 metres from Adelaide Convention Centre and 400 metres from Adelaide Oval. The 1-bedroom was very well equipped and a bonus was the washer & dryer. It had private secure parking about 2 blocks away that was arranged in advance. The after hours check-in was very good. We also liked the location on the free downtown tram line. I also used the barber just 2 doors down. There were several restaurants in the neighbourhood which made us feel comfortable in the evening.
