Jose on the front desk was very helpful by inflating my tires after my TPMS gave an alert. He was enthusiastic to help and I appreciated his support. If it's review time give him a raise!

Very clean, hallways were clean and surrounding areas were. Parking was easy and accessible, everybody was extremely polite and helpful. There was a fridge in the room that helped with beverages and a lot of storage space.

There are MANY things to do in Pasadena - museums, gardens and lots of historical architecture! Hiking too if you have transportation to a trailhead.

I liked most that there are NO TV or noises from guest rooms near my room; It's a nonsmoking Hotel; The rooms doesn't have any stale or odors in them (at least not in my room); There are NO guest hanging-out, talking, or on cellphones in the hallways or in front of my room's door; There's a restaurant in the lobby; Rooms have mini Fridges, a Couch; Desk for writing/laptop work, and a Big Screen TV's in them; The bed and room is comfortable and clean (Traffic noise and Dust in my room being the only problems due to my Allergies, Asthma and Migraine health conditions which are sensitive to dust); The location is perfect, with Public Transportation; Restaurants; Parks; a Library, Bank, Market; Entertainment; Gas Station; Post Office; etc. nearby (walking distance); The rooms walls are NOT paper thin (Thank God:); The TV has lost of Channels to choose from, including HBO, Netflix, YouTube, Bluetooth, etc. options.
I did not like that the rooms DO NOT have any Hardwood floors or Hypoallergenic carpeting in rooms specifically for Allergy suffers; The rooms DO NOT have Bathtubs in them (only Showers); There are NO Snack Vending machines on any floors 2-6 (Guest have to get it from the lobby/front desk); The rooms have NO Microwaves in them (but you can request one from the Front Desk (which they won't tell you you can do or have brought to your room); Delivery food have to be picked up from the lobby (due to the elevator being to far from the lobby to get to and no one to assist delivers to your room); The Hotel has NO room service; You will hear dogs/a dog (if any) barking when they are passing by your room via the hallways and or in guest rooms next to yours; The PLUTO App Movies & TV Channels DO NOT work properly or at all (the Internet signal constantly disconnects or never gets connected). Housekeeping is every other day (wish it could be every 3 or 4 days for uninterrupted rest for guest whose stay is a week or longer).

I grew up in Pasadena and it's a fine little city with many places that would be fun to visit, e.g. the Huntington Library and estate. It's not Los Angeles or New York, but it's clean and peaceful AND within an hour's drive, one can get to Los Angeles or Hollywood (or Universal Studios) or the fine beaches. Two hours to Disneyland.

Pasadena is a walkable safe part of greater LA.
Pasadena is a walkable safe part of greater LA. It is easy to get to via the freeway system from the airport and easy to drive to other parts of LA. There are a lot of great vegan restaurants. There are many options for buying groceries too. Lovely residential neighbourhoods for walks near downtown. Huntington Library and Gardens are well worth a visit. Well preserved historical architecture all around. Pasadena Antique Market in downtown is fantastic as is Vromens Books. Nice mix of independent shops and bigger chains. Pasadena Hotel and Pool was less expensive than comparables in other parts of LA. If I had to live in LA for work I would want to live in Pasadena.

The city of old pasadena was nice.
The city of old pasadena was nice. Lots of architecture and activity. However, hotels are plopped in the busy sections and parking garages. Lots of concrete! Not peaceful
The hotel food was very good. Staff as well.
Just uncomfortable with hotel location.

that were mostly beautiful. Definitely something to see. Had no idea the Langham Huntington was so gorgeous. A must do.
Did not spend time in Pasadena, but drove through. Looked good, next time.
The hotel is located in Pasadena, one of the nicest neighborhoods in L.A. It is very convenient, safe and there are grocery stores, delis, a supermarket and the subway station at walking distance. There was a laundromat inside the premises so I coud do my laundry (been traveling for several weeks) for little money. The lady at front desk (Celeste) was super kind. I had a good sleep. Everything was fine.
The room was perfect for our one night stay. We booked a King suite and appreciated the separate living area. The room was nice and quiet with room darkening shades. The breakfast was the most complete we have had since the pandemic. We travel quite a bit and most hotels are still doing cheap grab and go continental breakfasts. This full breakfast was a welcome surprise.
The hotel and staff were excellent! We plan on staying there every time we are in town. Breakfast was great, hotel was not run down like more expensive hotels in the Pasadena area that we've recently stayed at. Free parking is a plus and the rooms had plenty of sunshine. The size was also bigger than more expensive hotels in the area.
Great location and historic hotel. The plants looked great and the hotel transported you back in time. The continental breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. It was located near lots of restaurants that were open late.
Location is great! Close to several freeways, downtown Pasadena & Old Town Pasadena. Situated on Arroyo Pkwy which intersects major Blvds makes getting around very easy. Also located across the street from Whole Foods!
The Rose & Crown is a motor hotel that has been upgraded to a higher standard. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were friendly. There was no extra fee for on-site parking. Breakfast was adequate.
The location of the hotel is central to Pasadena. We were close to the freeway. Lots of food options nearby. The facilities were awesome. Beautifully decorated hotel. Very clean and the staff were super friendly.
The location of the Hotel was close to Pasadena City Hall where we were doing a senior photo shoot the next morning. It was also close to Old Town Pasadena so we had plenty of places to eat.
Location was perfect for us because it’s an equal distance to Santa Anita, Old Pasadena, and hikes in the mountains. Hotel is showing signs of wear and tear but but our room was super clean.
Good variety of choices for breakfast. Location in Pasadena was excellent. Very much appreciated the complimentary water bottles throughout the stay. Most of the staff super friendly
I liked that Mr Omkar the manager at hotel was very helpful and extremely cooperative. The location was very close to gas station all the restaurants and other shopping places.
Very accommodating staff (we checked in 3 hours early because our flight arrived then and they were ready for us) and very clean rooms. Cleanest hotel/motel in the area.
Convenient location to Rose Bowl. Hanging out at the pool. Saga Motor Hotel sign. Good takeaway breakfast options (in consideration of covid protocols)
