The location of Selina Ramon is excellent - right inside the Ramon Crater, surrounded by mountains, a decent distance from Mitzpe Ramon city, and perfect for stargazing. It's very easy to access via Route 40 by car, and 1 min drive to Ramon Colors National Park. The facility is great. The staff is super friendly. The mini pool is great fun or kids and family.

Great location, clean room, friendly & helpful staff.
Mitzpe Ramon is magical.
You can enjoy a different view depending on the time of day. Make sure you get to see the sunset on the promenade and watch the mountains change colors.
There are many trails - the easiest is to walk along the promenade.
If you want to hike, make sure you take plenty of water and a good trail map. You can get info at the visitors center - which is well worth visiting. They have a lovely light show exhibition that explains how this erosion crater "machtesh" was formed.
The crater is a geological wonder. It is also fun to see the ibexes (mountain goats) walking down the streets of the city.

Mitspe Ramon is a small town with a relaxed artistic atmosphere. Desert weather: cool at night hot and dry during daytime. Unique place for discovering stars, colorful rock formations, studying fossils. During winter you can view flash desert floods from a safe location. Great place if you want to spend time by yourself listening to the wind and staring at nature's wonders.

The natural desert scenery is amazing, especially from the cliff top where the Ramon Crater begins. Herds of gazelles stroll through the town. There are a few chic eateries e.g. in the Spice Quarter. We often eat at Mauna, in the main shopping centre: it's vegan, with a limited menu, but the food is delicious.
Driving In Mitzpe Ramon is easy, but most places are walkable. Remember, many shops are closed on Saturday/Jewish Holidays.

Mitzpe Ramon is a gem for nature lovers and nature photographers, especially if you like deserts of course. There are many spots to hike and visit, or having a stroll along the cliffs with stunning views.
If you just wanna rest or enjoying nightlife, there are some nice cafes and bars, for having a cappuccino by reading a book or going out for some live music.

Loved the stargazing in the crater with Ira the Starman- highly recommend this.
A visit to the Alpaca Farm and to Nana Vineyard were very enjoyable.
The visitor center presentation together with the Ilan Ramon exhibit had a huge emotional impact.
Artist Colony/local crafts shops in the "Industrial Zone" were amazing
A well balanced blend of activity, quiet and night life.
Car is a must for quick easy access to all sites.
Ultra and Levi's were our favorite restaurants.
Be sure to check hours and if reservations are needed for events
We had a great time at the desert shade camp. Maya was so lovely and accommodating. She got us towels and was so helpful. We had an air conditioned cabin which was simple but felt authentic and was a very unique stay. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning with hummus and coffee and dates. There was no dinner option but there were lots of nearby restaurants that were lovely and reasonably priced. An amazing view of the crater and a great stay would definitely recommend.
We had asked for a room near the main building, and we got it. We were pleased about that. The room was possibly the nicest we have had in any hotel. It had lots of windows, big and small and many little conveniences, so it was very comfortable. It was very cold when we were there but the heating was fine.
Some of the service people were excellent.
We loved the food at both breakfast and dinner. Wonderful.
Will definitely return next year.
Location (near the bohemian quarter), balcony size, bed size, kitchen size. Smells nice - of wood. Overall impression - like Russian style dacha, a DIY cabin in the countryside. Fine decorations and overall pleasant Eastern vibe.
This is not for people who don't like camping and DIY, because the amenities are basic, even spartan in places. But if you dig the style, you'll love it.
location convenient room adequate, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast adequiate,
Mitzpe Ramon is a small growing town on the edge of one of the world's most beautiful locations, Israel's great canyon, that has so much of interest and beauty to explore,
the small town has some good restaurants, and for religious Jews a number of synagogues,
We liked the atmosphere, the view. The pools and Jacuzzi were extremely clean and not overcrowded.
Out room was a bit far from main facilities but nevertheless it was fun to walk in the hotel. It was in Oct, I wouldn't like to so the same in Aug.
The food quality was good.
Really cool vibe. Full functional kitchen to use. Lots of space to sit inside the lounge area. Tents are very cute. Bathrooms good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location to everywhere else in Mitzpe Ramon. People social in the hostel and always happy to chat
The room is located in a new hotel, so the equipment is new, which is nice. We liked the bathroom with a large spacious shower the best. The hotel is located in a great place, everything you need is within walking distance- bar with live music, restaurants, cafes.
The house had five bedrooms and was very comfortable for 10 people for a two day weekend. The house is very well equipped and when we arrived, it was very clean. It’s essentially located and is a good base to explore the area around mitzpe Ramon.
Great place to stay for next morning hike in mitzpe Ramon :) we received one of the best services during our whole stay in Israel, as staff was super available for questions and flexible to reservation modifications :) wished we stayed longer!
The room was nice and clean, if you are in town and need a place to sleep for practical reasons - this hotel can be decent but don't expect it to take your vacation to the next level. The staff were pleasant.
The staff was terrific and very helpful. The location is also very convenient because the hostel is right in the German colony and not very far from the view of Mitzpe Ramon. Definitely worth the money! :)
nice hotel, very clean and rooms are nicely furnished
beds are comfortable.
free coffee and tea in the lobby, great rooftop.
quick check in (you have to call a number at the lobby)
breakfast taken outside (agreement hotel and gastronomy) Mac nearby and very good coffeeshop.
owner/administrator very accommodating, as well as the service staff
