Rooms at Ffarm Country House are elegant and traditionally furnished, and each benefits from a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and an en suite bathroom with bathrobes, slippers and a hairdryer. Some rooms are ideally catered for families and there is a luxury ground floor room for guests with mobility issues. Great experience - nice hosts, best traditional breakfast, great room, as befits a real castle. If we had time, we would be happy to stay another day. :)

Tir y Coed Country House is a haven of peace and tranquillity, nestled in over an acre of mature landscaped gardens.

On the edge of Rowen, one of the Conwy Valley's most delightful villages, the Tir y Coed is within the boundaries of the Snowdonia National Park. The far-reaching views from Rowen extend to the magnificent mountains beyond. The medieval walled town of Conwy is just 4 miles away, as is the coast. This was a great location for our two nights in Conwy. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had high-end conveniences that we weren't expecting. The gardens were absolutely beautiful; we wish we'd planned for some time to sit on the veranda and enjoy the birds and flowers. We had a flat tire on our rental car while we were in Anglesey an hour away. Sandra was so helpful in advising us while we rearranged our plans so we could pick up another rental. She even called a taxi for us to get to the train station. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with generous portions -- a great way to start a full day of adventures.

The country house is fitted with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, bed linen, towels, a TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a patio with mountain views. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance.

If you would like to discover the area, skiing, cycling and hiking are possible in the surroundings and the country house can arrange a ski equipment rental service. I loved the peace and quiet of the place. The shower was excellent and the whole bathroom was impeccably cleaned, as was the rest of the space.

Located just 3 miles from Conwy, Glyn Isa Country House B&B and self catering Lodge is set in family home, dating from the 17th century, within 10 acres of private land and gardens. The village of Rowen is just 1 mile away and the property offers free parking. A perfect very stylish self-catering little cottage. Well equipped within very private grounds in the middle of the country side. Excellent location for daytrips and walks in North Wales. In the small village of Rowen 1 mile away there is also a very nice Pub. Highly recommended.

Situated on the outskirts of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park, Maenan Abbey Hotel stands on the site of an original thirteenth-century Cistercian monastery.

Built as a gentleman's residence in 1850, the property features a magnificent galleried Victorian staircase and blazing winter log fire. Whilst maintaining its historic traditions, Maenan Abbey offers all modern hotel facilities. All 14 bedrooms are en suite and are decorated in a style sympathetic to the period of the building. Booked rather on a short notice, but totally enjoyed! The atmosphere is like a little bit medieval in a good way, we enjoyed a lot a dinner - such a fast serving and tasty dishes, cocktails in the lounge! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful!
