A beautiful & small hotel on the edge of Franschhoek. We were treated very well by the owners & amazing staff and supported us to feel more comfortable. Amazing breakfast was served every morning with 4 different types of eggs benedict to choose from & cold buffet. We wish we had more time to spend here!

Tranquility and spending quality time are the main things we were looking for and that is exactly what we got. Beautiful views, away from our usual busy city life. The place was clean, great staff - very welcoming. We felt like we were part of the family and the team made great suggestions on local restaurants to visit for dinner. The complimentary wine tasting and wine in our suite were highly appreciated. We did not feel the impact of loadshedding because the house had a back up power supply. The second day of our stay was a cold day but we had wine and a fire place in our suite to make everything alright.

And let's not forget the omelette - a culinary masterpiece that left us craving for more, its called the “special order” as their little help Cindy would say. From recommending the best local attractions to sharing stories about life on the farm, they made us feel like cherished friends rather than mere guests. In conclusion, our time at the Chambray Estate - The Terraces in the Vines Bed and Breakfast was nothing short of extraordinary.
