We had a wonderful experience at Casa do Santo for our 2 night stay. Maria was very hospitable, helpful, and knowledgable. The views of the Douro valley are beautiful. The small, quaint village is a quick drive to the Douro river with amazing views of the hillside vineyards. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we return to this area.

Nastanitev Quinta de Travassinhos- Douro Valley se nahaja v mestu Santa Marta de Penaguião in nudi sezonski zunanji bazen, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje, teraso ter razgled na gore. Everything was perfect. The hosts, the room, the garden, the pool, the views... We enjoyed evey second of our stay and we will definitely be coming back for a longer stay.

We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

This is a fantastic place, especially if you have ever wanted to stay in a peaceful, beautiful Portuguese village. The owners have perfectly refurbished several old houses with modern conveniences for a very comfortable stay. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heart-beat.

Enjoyed the stay and as a matter of speaking felt at home.
