Offering river views, De La Rosa’s suites feature a seating area with a plush sofa, and a mini-bar. All guest rooms are air conditioned. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and boasts either a bath or a shower. Some bathrooms feature typical tiles on the walls. Our visit to Quinta de la Rosa was simply wonderful and far exceeded expectations. Our room was beautiful with stunning views and dinner in the restaurant (on both nights) was outstanding. We had an excellent wine tour/tasting and did some fabulous hikes including right to the top of the estate. Couldn't recommend a visit here more highly.

Situated within 13 km of Natur Waterpark and 37 km of Douro Museum, Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Provesende. This farm stay has a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. The farm stay has a fax machine and photocopier and an ATM machine that guests can use. The setting was simply perfect, offering stunning views of the Duoro valley. The house itself was beautiful, and we received a lovely welcome with their homemade Porto wine. Our room was exceptional, offering great comfort, and the breakfast was equally delightful. Unfortunately, the cold weather kept us from using the pool, but we're excited to return and spend more time there. Honestly, I felt no desire to venture elsewhere, as everything about the place was just wonderful.

The area is popular for hiking and walking tours, and bike hire is available at Quinta de Travassinhos- Douro Valley. The farm stay also features outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. My friends and I loved the property, the people, and the meals. It is so charming—I love the care and thought that was put into this place. We had our dinners here and our last dinner was this delicious stew. Helena, Ricardo, and Joao helped to make our stay so wonderful.

At the country house, every unit comes with bed linen and towels. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

What an amazing place and warm, wonderful hosts Paolo and Carla make you feel like old friends. Beware, booking.com's directions take you to the wrong house. Follow Google maps to Quinta da Menina Guest house instead and you won't get lost. The place seems brand new but charming. It's spotless and gorgeous. The pool is crystal clear and breakfast is fantastic. Don't make the mistake we made and only book one night. You are going to want to stay at this beautiful oasis and explore the wine area for, at least, a few days. I would have stayed forever if I could.
