A recently renovated country house situated in Furnas, Furnas Spring Lodge features a garden. Cozy backyard. Comfortable and clean. Very nice room. Tânia was a great hostess and made it easy for us. Location was nice and easy to park your car close by. If ever in Furnas again we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location overlooking Sao Roque and across the water to Sao Jorge. The apartment had everything we needed and when the sun was shining we loved the large balcony-patio. From this location, you're close to so many things (assuming you have a car). Our host was amazing before, during, and after our stay, responding by text very quickly whenever we had a question or needed anything. She was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The kitchen is excellent, and so are the bathroom and beds. Very quiet at night.

Really cosy and comfortable apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. There is also private parking, and nice garden with bbq facilities. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was left in the fridge for us (local products) and the fact that the baker brought us bread in the morning was also really nice. The location is also pretty good, just few minutes walk from the center of the village and the shop, and the Santa Barbara viewpoint can also be reached on foot (about 15 minute walk downhill). The host was also really helpful, tried to help us with everything and even offered to pay for our breakfast one morning when the baker forgot to bring us the bread. Overall a great apartment in a very peaceful environment for a great price.

Large enough to accommodate our family of 5 with no issue. Had a driveway which was great since we had a rental car. Great communication with host. Kitchen seemed to have all needed amenities ( we didn’t use them as we were there for a short while but appeared to have everything needed to make and serve a meal). Excellent view from the front bedroom bed. Wow! Nice to have a porch in the front to take in the view. So awesome to have roosters roaming around. And cows in the field next door. A true small town experience. Walking distance to the Largo and to Rocha snack bar and restaurant. There was even a local cat that came around for snuggles and pets. Wonderful time! Highly recommend! Set in Capelas, within 16 km of Pico do Carvao and 18 km of Sete Cidades Lagoon, Solar Pontes offers accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. We had room nr. 3. It was ample, nicely appointed. The staff was extremely helpful and generous with their time. Everything worked well. The room was soundproof. The bed was comfortable, the shower strong. The view was beautiful overlooking a large garden. The buffet breakfast was good and tasty. Location was ideal. We highly recommend this place.
