Eiði Farmhouse has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Grundarfjordur. The property features garden views. The rooms include a terrace with lake views. Very homey guesthouse that has plenty of facilities. It is fully furnished with a really nice decoration style suiting the farm it is located at. The host is very friendly and kind and invited us to take a look at their cows during milking. All the rooms have plenty of space and the kitchen is very well equipped. Everything is also very clean and well maintained. Last but not least the surroudings are magnificent!

Sodulsholt Cottages offer self-catering cottages in Sodulsholt and views of the surrounding landscape. Free WiFi is available. Perfect little cottage. Literally nothing bad to be mentioned about it. Confy, well maintaned, warm and well insulated despite the heavy winds we had during our stay. A lot of large windows (we saw a small stretch of the aurora right front the bed) and the kitchen has everything one would need for cooking a nice dinner. We even stopped near their farm and saw the beautiful horses they have, there was one nice guy who let us in for a couple of mins. Definitely recommend. It is not cheap but well… what’s cheap in Iceland? The price is fair anyway.

Set on a farm 8 km from Grundarfjördur, this modern guest house offers a 9-hole golf course, plus free Wi-Fi and parking. Snæfellsjökull National Park is 40 minutes’ drive away. AH-MAZE-ING! The view alone was worth the stay. Martin (the host) was warm and kind. Breakfast was light but perfect. If we ever come back we will absolutely be staying here!

This house was perfect! The setting is so peaceful and quiet. A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Situated in Budhir, Marbakki Luxury Ocean Retreat features accommodation with a hot tub, a solarium and an open-air bath. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!

Set in Hellnar in the West Iceland region, Hellnar Ocean View Villa offers accommodation with free private parking. Location was perfect - great views and at start of hike to Anarstapi. The jacuzzi was amazing and lack of light pollution in the area allowed us to see northern lights. There were various supplies in the pantry which was useful. All rooms equipped with comfortable bedding and bathroom had good shampoo. Amazing standard of accommodation.

Providing barbecue facilities, Tanginn provides accommodation in Stykkishólmur. Featuring a minimarket, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Location was lovely. Quiet charming town with some excellent restaurants.

The location was amazing and the views were second to none. Super close proximity to the glacier and right on the coast line.
