Everything exceed expectations. We stayed in many airbnb and accomdations during our 14 days road trip and I can say that this hits the top 3. Its located on a large compound with hostel, cabin, campsite. Fantastic place to rest, relax and explore.

Skútustadir Guesthouse ligger på en gård ved den sydlige bred af søen Mývatn og har fælles køkken/opholdsstue og bjergudsigt. Der tilbydes gratis WiFi og gratis parkering. It was one of best guesthouses i have stayed in Iceland. Clean cozy rooms and friendly staff. Additonally Skútustadir was perfect. I have tried everything unique this farm had to offer. Geysir bread, geysir beer, smoked trout, burger, angelica tea. Everything from localy grown plants or livestock. Loved it. And last, but not least. They make the best Gelato I had outside Italy!!

Slow Travel Mývatn - Óli's Homestay-Private house v ligger i Myvatn, under 50 km fra Godafoss-vandfaldet, og tilbyder indkvartering med bjergudsigt. Lovely stay and the owners put an effort into conserving the heritage of Iceland as well as being sustainable. The space is very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a really lovely time!

Myvo The old farm Geiteyjarströnd 4 har udsigt over søen og tilbyder indkvartering med have, ca. 48 km fra Godafoss-vandfaldet. The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.

Hlíd Huts ligger 49 km fra Godafoss-vandfaldet og tilbyder indkvartering i Myvatn. Der er adgang til terrasse, gratis privat parkering og gratis wi-fi. It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.
