This is a beautiful property and without doubt the most luxurious and well maintained property in the area. It is an escape from the busy market town, somewhere to just relax after a day exploring. We were delighted to find such a large well appointed and luxurious villa with great staff. The owner was able to accommodate a request for breakfast and organise dinners for us also (at extra cost) which was great. This property very much has an international feel to it in the way they look after you. We had not planned to spend so much time in the villa but it was so good we spend more time in than out.

Very nice clean room, brilliant value! Also booked 3 day trek with them which was incredible, saw lots of orangutan’s, but the whole team made it so special. Guides Helmy (Mowgli) and Dean and chef Anto (great food) were so welcoming, friendly, polite, very funny and amazing guides. Made the trip brilliant. Dedycool the host was super!

We instantly felt at home. The rooms are very nice, the view is insane and the food, especially the fishtaco's, are to die for. We recommend this place 100%!!!

Offering a peaceful retreat amidst natural greenery, Horas Family Home is located in Tuk Tuk area on Samosir Island. Guests enjoy a direct access to Lake Toba and free WiFi. Everything was so nice and comfortable, and the free upgrade to the lake view topped it off. Free use of kayaks, fishing gear and most helpful staff.

Booking Lucky Bamboo Bungalow was the best thing that could have happened to us in Bukit Lawang! Not only was Johnny the friendliest and most welcoming host, but also a very experienced and knowledgeable guide who made our 3-day trek an absolutely unforgetteable experience and we got to see 5 Orang Utans!
