I absolutely loved everything about this place. The room I had was clean and nice. The host was very welcoming and friendly. I had the opportunity to try some local products and all I can say is that everything was full of flavour. I was treated with great hospitality. I have never seen anything similar in any other area in Romania. I highly recommend Casa Maramureșeanului for it's great hospitality and friendly host.

There is an open barn where you can have self-prepared meals in the yard and they are growing, a new building is being built next to the old house. We were welcomed by the hosts’ appointed family and introduced to what can be visited locally, where to eat etc Rooms have sattelite TV (EURO 2020 final was this Sunday) and reception is very good. The kitchen is fully stocked and the hosts are always happy to provide anything extra that you may need or advice about visiting surrounding areas.
