This was one of our favourite places we stayed at during our trip around Iceland. The location is great, just a short drive from the main road. Room felt very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Great view across the glaciers to the north! If I ever returned to this area, I would definitely choose to spend the night here again.

We loved our stay! It was our favourite stay in Iceland, such wonderfully friendly hosts and the place is fully renovated on the inside, which makes it very modern and comfortable. We saw the northern lights both nights we stayed at Saudanes Guesthouse, making it the perfect place to see them. Highly recommend this guesthouse!

Staying in Hofn was a great choice for exploring the southeastern part of Iceland. The cottage was modern, clean, and offered beautiful views of the mountains and foss. The breakfast was delicious and hearty, perfect for a day of adventures. Hofn itself has great seafood restaurants and is close to Vatnajökull National Park. I would definitely stay here again.
