The property looks even better in person, which is rare. The landscaping is beautiful. The bed in my cottage was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The mattress was extremely nice. Lots of pillows too. And very vibey- warm lighting! We ended up extending two extra nights because of the comfortable bed. The power went out for about an hour every day from the wind, yes. But it isn’t their fault. You’re out in nature on top of a mountain. It always came back quickly. The pool is a nice temperature for swimming when the sun is out. It’s not a heated pool. And there are nice lounge chairs. The owners are super friendly and helpful. I see some reviews about the last hill leading to the property being scary and no driver would attempt it. This made me nervous. But actually, if you’re an experienced motorbiker, it’s no problem, really. I recommend arriving in daylight though. I didn’t, and it was a very dark drive. If you are arriving from the south, I do not recommend taking Jalan Culali with an automatic motorbike and two people + luggage. You can find the road by searching “The Kuyuan.” It is very steep (with gears, it’s okay). Try the road southeast of that, closer to the lake (Danau Batur).

We loved our stay in villa danu. Its so clean and beautiful with amazing views over the lake and the mountains. We were so happy to meet Nyoman sudiartha who helped us alot with our stay and provided us transport when we needed. And also simon and komo who took us on a wonderful jeep ride up the mountain on sunrise. It was amazing!

Allotjament situat al costat del llac de Batur, enmig de la natura, ideal per fer una excursió per veure sortir el sol des del volcà i per relaxar-te. El jardí i la piscina són molt bonics. Tenen restaurant de poder menjar a l'allotjament. De totes maneres el bungalow que teníem nosaltres tenia cuina amb els estris necessaris per cuinar i nevera. Dues habitacions molt grans, menjador, TV i bany amb tot el necessari.Wifi. El personal molt amable!! Molt recomanat.

We absolutely loved our time at the beautifully designed hill house surrounded by nature with stunning views of Mount Batur. Putu made us feel right at home and went out of his way to take care of us. We had so much fun, made wonderful memories, and took lots of photos! We'll definitely be back if we get the chance. The view from the bedroom is nice, as seen on the picture. The rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast fried rice is delicious, but a bit too spicy even for javanese tongue like mine. Everything goes well and nice. But the weather doesn't support us. Too bad it's cloudy, so we can't get the sunrise.

WYN has been very accomodating and helped me get all settled when I arrived and checked late at night. He even was v.accomodating and dropped me off at Batur HotSprings with his bike as the place (Hostel/cabin I stayed at was on top of the hill and would have difficulty coming down to the main road if you have luggages and no bike). Big vehicles won’t be able to come up on the hill-NOT POSSIBLE!). Nevertheless, WYN (the caretaker and works there) was very hospitable and super friendly. 👌

Una ubicació excepcional per veure els volcans, el Danau Batur i el mar des de les cabanes. El tracte de la mestressa es molt càlid i et dona facilitats per tot. Es difícil arribar si vas amb un conductor no local pero et poden venir a buscar si els ho demanes.
