The private beach, adorned with swaying palm trees, and the pristine pool provided the perfect settings for relaxation and rejuvenation. What truly set Sunset Samana apart was the sense of exclusivity we experienced. Despite being in the midst of the season, we found ourselves completely alone in the hotel, adding an extra layer of serenity to our stay. Moreover, the clean and comfortable rooms, coupled with the convenience of private parking, ensured a hassle-free experience. Exploring the surrounding area was a delight, with numerous beautiful public beaches offering secluded spots for ultimate tranquility. Additionally, the proximity of restaurants within walking distance made dining options easily accessible. David, the owner of Sunset Samana, deserves special praise for his warmth and hospitality. His friendly demeanor and invaluable tips for trips enriched our experience, making us feel truly welcome and cared for. Having traveled extensively across the Dominican Republic, including stays at top-rated Punta Cana hotels, we can confidently say that Sunset Samana has captured our hearts. Without a doubt, it's the place we will wholeheartedly return to on our next visit.

We loved so many things about this place! First of all the house itself is really amazing. Its built in tune with nature and has some super cool rock features inside. The bathroom is pretty incredible! The house is spacious and clean. The porch with the thatch roof is the perfect spot to relax after the beach in a hammock and watch the hummingbirds in the tropical garden. Quiet neighborhood right next to one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever seen. Two minutes walk to the main little street with restaurants and colmados. Perfect spot for a couple or family! Hans was very accommodating and helpful!

It is only one minute from the main street, where you can take a guagua to Samaná or where it drops you off. A minimarket and a fruit shop are also right on the corner of the main street. You find good restaurants nearby.
